In an interview with stores+shops, she shares her views on artificial intelligence and quantum computing and reveals how retailers can maintain the stability and security of their IT infrastructure in times of rapid market changes.<\/p>\n

In your opinion, what are the major issues facing IT departments in the retail sector? How should companies prepare for them?<\/h2>\n

I see AI as an innovation, efficiency and competitive factor, growing regulatory pressure combined with an increasing number of new legal requirements, the consequences of staff shortages and dealing with rising cost pressure. With AI technologies, we are able to automate complex workflows, support creative and strategic processes and make customer interaction smarter, more personalized and individualized. AI will have a profound impact on how we work, learn, communicate and live in the future.<\/p>\n

The best way for companies to prepare for this is to get to grips with artificial intelligence and the opportunities it offers and to try it out. It is important for me to say this: AI is also just a technology, an option for solving tasks. Instead of looking for a suitable problem for this technology, they start with the task and look for the right technological solution.<\/p>\n
